What makes Alven different?

Alven delivers the same BioCentric Lighting™ performance as our networked solutions, just in a free-standing form. Instead of installing a full BioCentric Lighting™ system in a room, you can assemble and plug in Alven on your own and immediately receive the benefits of BioCentric Lighting™.

Who can use Alven?

BrainLit Alven™ is a multi-user system, so multiple employees can create accounts, download the BrainLit app, and enjoy the benefit of BioCentric Lighting™ by checking in or checking out of the system.

How do I set up my Alven?

Where can I download the app?

How do I create a user account?

Once you have downloaded the BrainLit app, you will be prompted to create an account. 

I forgot my username or password. How can I reset them?

Please follow the prompts in the BrainLit app for re-setting your username or password.

Why do I need to create an account?

Setting up an account is not required to use BrainLit Alven, but you will lose out on many benefits if you do not use the BrainLit app and set up an account. Among other benefits, the app and account allow you to: 

  • Save favorite settings for future use 
  • Receive light recipe and scene updates automatically 
  • Receive future software updates to the functionality of your Alven

What is included?

Your Alven includes all elements of the free-standing system (foot, pole, luminaire), tools and screws to assemble the Alven, and access to the BrainLit app.

Does it come with a warranty?

Yes, Alven has a one-year warranty from the purchase date or delivery date (if they are different). 

What if I have a problem?

How is it shipped?

Alven is shipped to you in three separate boxes. Box 1 includes the luminaire, power cable, and tools for assembly; Box 2 includes the Alven pole, and Box 3 includes the Alven foot. 

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we ship anywhere in the world, either directly or through licensed distribution partners.

How long is the delivery time?

Depending on order volume, your delivery time may vary. Please contact us at info@brainlit.com if you have questions about delivery time.

How can I track the delivery?

You will receive a tracking number from the shipping company once your Alven has shipped. If you have any questions on the status of your shipment, please refer to this tracking number.

How is my personal data handled when using Alven?

We follow all GDPR requirements in handling of your personal data. For more information, please refer to our privacy policy.

My Alven can't find any WiFi networks

If you are struggling to connect your Alven to a WiFi network, try moving it closer to your closest WiFi access point/router and turning Alven so that the keypad is facing it.

Why is my Alven only eminating a reddish light?

Your Alven is probably set to Relax mode. Using the BrainLit app, choose AutoLit mode or follow the user manual to set your Alven to AutoLit mode.

Where should I place my Alven for the best BioCentric effect?

You should place BrainLit Alven so that the light falls comfortably into your eyes. To avoid discomfort, you should not look directly into the light. We recommend using the AutoLit recipe as often as possible.
