BrainLit launches BrainLit UVen, a unique automated system with the capability to disinfect spaces with UV lighting

BrainLit UVen solution

The solution can deactivate 90% of the SARS-CoV-2 virus in 2 minutes

The ongoing pandemic has highlighted the fact that viruses and bacteria can live both in the air and on surfaces and thereby spread and negatively affect our health. As we learn to live with these infection outbreaks, there is demand for an efficient way to disinfect frequently-visited public spaces, such as bathrooms, to protect people from harmful pathogens.

BrainLit’s new automated system solution, BrainLit UVen, disinfects both air and surfaces using UV-C light to deactivate pathogens. BrainLit UVen has gone through extensive tests by the Swedish Defence Research Agency (FOI), which verifies the disinfection efficacy with quick deactivation of SARS-CoV-2, i.e. the virus that causes Covid 19. The tests show the deactivation of 90% of the SARS-CoV-2 virus in 2 minutes and deactivation of 99,9% in 12 minutes.

”We are very happy and invigorated to see that the FOI results confirm what we expected from the product”, says Nils Gautam, Product Manager. “There is a tremendous need for this type of solution on the market, and we are happy to bring it to our customers in CE-certified markets, with other regions to follow soon.”

BrainLit UVen automatically deactivates viruses and other pathogens through a safe and patented UV-C solution and thus ensures a safer working environment.

BrainLit UVen is available for order in CE-certified markets and has already been installed with customers.
