Scrum Master

About the job:

We are looking for a Scrum master to join our R&D team! As a Scrum master you will be a leader responsible for our Embedded, App and Cloud products and to keep the holistic approach. You will be responsible for guiding and coaching our development team into becoming a high performing and delivering team and you will assist in team activities and workshops. Furthermore, you will help to drive developer community activities. We believe you will be the great in coaching our Developers as well as the product owners in agile ways of working.

Your key tasks will be to

·        Plan, lead and develop the software process for multiple products in parallel.

·        Ensure quality and stability of the software.

·        Facilitate the team’s progress toward team goals.

·        Facilitate events.

·        Promote quality practices.

·        Lead team efforts in relentless improvement.

·        Exhibit Lean-Agile leadership.

·        Support the Product Owners.

·        Facilitate the removal of impediments.

·        Coordinate with other scrum masters and agile coaches.

·        Enable organizational effectiveness.

Education and Experience

We are looking for you who are a true servant leader with an agile mindset. You have a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent and you can show a track record of leading successful software teams. Your work experience covers at least 5 years’ experience as a developer in C/C++ and/or C#. Previous background in building up scalable solutions, experience of scaling up tech teams and of both Embedded and Cloud development is needed to be successful in the role. You have also experience of planning development and release of multiple products in parallel.

  • Practice UML modelling and documentation

You are fluent in verbal and written English and Swedish. You are an excellent communicator with the ability to be an active member of the team and supporting your colleagues when necessary.

You are a highly motivated individual with good social skills and with a genuine interest in facilitating and coach teams, people, and software deliveries. As a leader you share power, put the needs of the team’s first and helps people develop and perform as highly as possible as a person. You find pragmatic solutions in complex products as well as identify critical development tasks/paths and prioritize accordingly. You are willing to constantly learn and contribute. As a person you are strong listener and have a very good ability to express yourself.
