About the job:
We are looking for a Cloud engineer to join our R&D team! The purpose of the role is to develop cloud software for the BioCentric Light. The successful applicant will have a wealth of experience in designing and implementing technical capabilities and tools as part of platform engineering practices into organizations and delivering Projects which make use of these. They should be able to engage at any point in the project lifecycle, from initial client strategy discussions right through to automated delivery and management of platform environments for self-service.
Your key tasks will be to
- Develop high quality and stable software.
- Create and maintain documentation of software solutions in UML models.
- Take part of feature development from planning all the way through to test and delivery.
- Play an active role in the technical direction of BrainLit’s Platform.
- Play an active role in communication and collaboration with developers and architects across the organization.
- Focused on delivering value to our customers.
- Creation and integration of tools for internal and/or external consumption.
Education and Experience
You have a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent. Your working experience covers at least 5 years of cloud software as well as C# development. To be successful in the role you will need to have previous experience of UML modelling, database management and of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment. You are used to work in software teams using the agile/Scrum methodology.
To be successful in the role you will be able to:
- Master C# development including test and measurement of code quality.
- Master Swagger documentation
- Practice MongoDB handling
- Practice UML modeling
- Master Microsoft Azure or other cloud SW platform.
As a person you are driven and able to find pragmatic solutions in complex products. You are willing to constantly learn and contribute and like to share your knowledge. You have good communication skills and master Swedish and English in both speech and writing. Furthermore, you are service-minded and always have the customers’ best interest at heart. Since you will be working in teams and deliver high-quality solutions it is important that you can work together with others.
